About the Arbitration Club
Arbitration is a judicial method of resolving disputes by which individuals are chosen by the parties and vested with the power to judge in place of state courts.
Today, arbitration is widely used in international trade disputes and is being deployed in new areas, such as digital technology. Its interest for economic operators is undeniable. In the academic world, arbitration gives rise to lively and important debates.
The Arbitration Club is based on the idea that the promotion of arbitration and the improvement of its conditions require a synergy between academics and practitioners, young and experienced, and specialists from various regions of the world.
The Arbitration Club was founded by three doctoral students from the Centre for Economic Law at Aix-Marseille University. It is proud to be supported by Professors Jacques Mestre and Denis Mouralis, Honorary Presidents of the association.
