Talla Hervé AWUI

Secretary General

Talla Hervé AWUI, MBA, is a legal expert specializing in regulatory compliance, energy law, and contract engineering.

He is currently serving as GDPR Project Manager at the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP). Previously, he worked as a consultant at Aetos Duponty – a public affairs and strategy firm – where he contributed to investment projects in the energy sector. He later joined the consulting firm CyberProtekt, where he was involved in IT contract negotiation and management, as well as in integrating Privacy by Design and by Default principles within operational teams.

His academic background includes training in international law at The Hague Academy of International Law, a Master’s degree in International Business Law, and a specialization in contract engineering from the University of Geneva. He also holds a university diploma in Energy Law and a Data Protection Officer certification (French RNCP Level 7).

Passionate about arbitration, he was a finalist in the African International Arbitration Competition and holds key positions in several associations, notably as Secretary General of the Club de l’Arbitrage in Paris and President of the Togolese Association for the Promotion of Law (ATPD). He is also the founder of “La Nuit du Droit au Togo.”

Finally, he is interested in sustainable finance issues, holds a certification from the Candriam Academy, and is a member of the Togolese Association of Compliance Officers (ATCO).
